The short version

Who we are

Ayes is run by Ayes App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15137694). Our registered office is Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. You can contact us at hello@ayesapp.com.

By using Ayes you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your information and keep your votes anonymous.

Who can use Ayes

You must be 16 or over to create an account and vote. Ayes is free to use.

Your account

Fair voting rules

Ayes only works if each person counts once. You must not:

If we reasonably believe you've broken these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Because we never store how anyone voted, we can't remove an individual vote, but we may close or reset a question if its results have clearly been manipulated.

Questions and results

Nominations, suggestions and awards

Sponsored content

Some questions, campaigns or spaces in the app may be sponsored. They are always clearly labelled. Sponsors can't write or influence questions or results, and they never receive anyone's personal information.

A new service

Ayes is new and still growing. Features may change, appear or disappear, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. We plan to add stronger checks, such as phone and bank verification, but they aren't live yet.

Our content

The Ayes name, logo, design and website content belong to Ayes App Ltd. Please don't copy them or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Our responsibility to you

We provide Ayes free of charge and "as is". We'll take reasonable care in running it, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, and we're not responsible for decisions you make based on results.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. If you keep using Ayes after a change, the new terms apply.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
